Hello. I am a member of the Corvallis City Council and on the coordinating committee of the Pacifc Green Party - Linn and Benton County Chapter. In Oregon the Pacific Green Party has a "peace slate" strategy for the 2008 elections. We want a candidate in each Congressional District who pledges to never vote for funding the military occupation of Iraq. If Democrat or Republican candidates for Congress will take the pledge, we might not run against them. I am only peripherally committed to impeachment. I intend to run on a "no war funding" platform, but naturally I believe Cheney, Bush and the rest of the criminals should be prosecuted. January 2, 2009 would be a good day to start the process!
