New Broom Coalition

CT Greens and Independent Laurie Dobson for US Senate are getting a boost from NH State Rep Betty Hall's HR 24, a Bill to Impeach Bush-Cheney. Rich Duffee, Duffee for Congress ' 08, Laurie and I will participate in Betty's Rally for HR 24, A Bill to Impeach Bush-Cheney, 4-14-08, Capital Center for the Arts, 44 S. Main St. Concord, NH. There will be an international press conference, a reception to lobby NH lawmakers for NH 24, and a 7 PM public Rally. Guests include Daniel Ellsberg, Ramsey Clark and Dr. Bob Bowman, all staunch impeachment advocates of many years, plus music by Noel Paul Stookey, Peter Yarrow, and others.

It was my small CT campaign that helped to make this event possible in that I had garnered months ago Dr. Ellsberg's support for my writings to save the Constitution, and Dr. Bowman's campaign endorsement. Clark knew me from efforts to organize an Emergency "Protect Iran" conference at the Carter Center in 11-07. I emailed each for Betty Hall and all said yes in about a day. Our coalition now has the notice of these and other standard bearers for reform, and they will help us if we ask them. I am hoping they might appear as often as possible for all new broom candidates.

Note after Betty Hall's website indicated that Ellsberg, Clark and Bowman were appearing, it become the #1 most hit site in the world for 24 hours - which is mind boggling. This is an excellent bellwether that we should not be discouraged and that the people - worldwide - are anxious for our message.
